Twisted Pear Take Pre-Orders for the Buffalo II DAC

Over at Twisted Pear, they are taking orders for the revised version of their Buffalo DAC.  Name wise they have gone for the catchy title “Buffalo II”

  • High-precision, ultra-low-phase noise clock and integrated re-clocking
  • Three on-board digital supplies are easily by-passable for customization
  • Dual series shunt voltage regulator module for AVcc supply
  • Direct DSD, I2S and S/PDIF inputs supporting up to 24-bit/192kHz
  • Stereo balanced outputs can be used in current-output or voltage-output mode (depends on output stage used)
  • All connections by direct or optional (included) terminal blocks
  • I2C header for remote uC interfacing, such as the Volumite digital volume control
